Address by Carol Berry MP
We are proud to share that Carol Berry MP recently presented RFA to the Federal Parliament, highlighting the important work our organisation does in promoting literacy and a love of reading among children and families.
In her address, Ms Berry spoke passionately about the difference RFA volunteers make in schools and communities, helping young readers build confidence, curiosity, and lifelong skills through the simple joy of books. She also recognised the dedication of our volunteers and supporters who give their time, energy, and enthusiasm to ensure every child has the opportunity to read and thrive.
This acknowledgment on a national stage is a wonderful milestone for RFA. It shines a light on the value of community-led literacy programs and the positive impact they have across generations.
